How we use information
Information is used for order fulfillment, account management, customer care, fraud prevention, security, analytics, merchandising and legal compliance.
- Create and manage customer accounts.
- Process orders, payments, shipping, returns, refunds and warranty claims.
- Send transactional messages such as order confirmations, payment updates, shipping notices and after-sales updates.
- Measure visits, product performance, conversion behavior and customer support issues.
Cookies and analytics
The storefront may use cookies, local storage and analytics events to keep the cart working, understand traffic and improve the catalog experience.
- Essential storage supports cart, session and security features.
- Analytics may measure product views, clicks, checkout progress, source channels and keywords.
- Marketing cookies or targeted advertising should only be enabled when the required consent and opt-out controls are implemented.
Marketing communications and preferences
Aboen may send marketing emails, SMS messages or promotional notices only through configured communication tools and required consent flows. Transactional messages such as order confirmation, payment status, delivery updates and after-sales notices are not treated as optional marketing messages.
- Customers should be able to unsubscribe from marketing messages through the message footer, preference link or support request.
- Opting out of marketing does not stop service messages needed to complete orders, returns, refunds, warranty claims or account security.
- Selling, sharing, targeted advertising or similar privacy choices should not be enabled on the storefront unless matching opt-out controls are available.
How information is shared
Aboen shares information only with service providers and parties required to operate the store or comply with law.
- Payment processors, fraud prevention tools and financial reconciliation providers.
- Warehouses, carriers, logistics providers and delivery appointment services.
- Email, hosting, analytics, customer support, data storage and security vendors.
- Legal, tax, compliance, law enforcement or business transfer recipients where permitted or required.
Customer privacy rights
Depending on the customer's state, customers may have rights to access, correct, delete or receive a copy of personal information, and to opt out of certain sale, sharing or targeted advertising uses.
- Aboen should verify the requester's identity before fulfilling a privacy request.
- Customers should be able to contact support to submit privacy, deletion, correction or opt-out requests until a self-service privacy portal is built.
- Aboen will not discriminate against customers for exercising privacy rights required by law.
Data retention and security
Aboen keeps information for as long as needed to provide the store, fulfill orders, resolve disputes, maintain financial records and comply with legal obligations.
- Security safeguards should include access control, encrypted secret storage and server-side processing of sensitive credentials.
- No system is perfectly secure, so customers should use strong passwords and protect account access.
Children and updates
The storefront is not intended for children under 13. Aboen may update this policy as the storefront, payment providers, logistics providers and analytics tools change.
